On Thursday July 13, 2017, Louis Negrón, a Past Master of Truth and Union Lodge, participated in Pitch Night at Centerform in Atlanta. The Pitch Night event consisted of seminary students going head to head with creative problem solving to create valuable enterprises that promote social good. Each team had to come up with a plan that could solve a major problem facing the metro Atlanta area. PM Negrón's team tackled problems facing the refugee community of Clarkston, GA. Clarkston mayor Edward "Ted" Terry, attended the event to support PM Negron and his team. PM Negrón helped develop a plan that would potentially put a live, work, play community in Clarkston that would rival Ponce City Market, or Krog Street Market. It was well received and his team received the most buy in from the judges of the event. All of the teams presented well and offered great potential solutions for issues ranging from homelessness to prison recidivism. PM Negron is currently enrolled at Mercer University School of Theology for his Masters of Divinity.
