Truth and Union Lodge #594 History
 PM Louis Negron, Truth and Union's First Elected Worshipful Master
On the morning of May 20, 2005, Past Grand Master Willie L. Williams issued a letter of dispensation granting the Brothers the right to form a lodge (Truth and Union, UD), conduct meetings, and receive petitions. Upon receipt of the dispensation, the petitioning Brothers officially became Truth & Union UD. Past Grand Master Williams appointed the three principal officers of the lodge. It was at that moment that we began to travel and journey into foreign lands.
During the next year Truth and Union, UD established itself within the Gwinnett County Community and attended the 139th Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Georgia (MWPHGLGA) Grand Session held in College Park, Georgia in the summer of 2006. At this gathering, the brothers of Truth & Union UD where granted a charter for Truth & Union Lodge #594 by Grand Master Ramsey Davis. The following fall a chartering ceremony was held on Saturday, October 14, 2006 in Lawrenceville, Georgia. |
On December 7th 2006, the lodge elected it's new officers and they were installed by DDGM Truitt and ADDGM Lewis. Brother Louis Enrique Negron, Sr. served as our first elected Worshipful Master.
As we grow, we prosper, and we intellectually enriched our minds through our Masonic studies with the successful execution of our community endeavors. Our outreach in the community has expanded to Gwinnett and Hall County area fostering and building the core of brother's involvement and within our activities by including our wives, children and loved ones. It's the dedication of the members of Truth & Union Lodge #594, to be an example of what it is to display Brotherly Love, Truth, and Relief. Although young in age with our collective wisdom this has given us the insight as a veteran lodge. Moreover,this has allowed us to be successful and continue to be successful in all of our many endeavors. |
