On October 16, 2016, Truth and Union Lodge #594 proudly continued it's support of The Lifecare Center of Lawrenceville by donating 15 bags of toiletries, socks, and winter blankets to the center.

The Lifecare Center of Lawrenceville is a nursing home that focuses on inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation with 24-hour skilled nursing care, Life Care Center of Lawrenceville’s in-house team of therapists and nurses use state-of-the-art equipment to take care of their residents.  Learn more at: http://lifecarecenteroflawrenceville.com

On Friday November 18, 2016, Brother Nolan Jeter held a "Grand Opening" for his new Edward Jones office.  Brother Jeter, who is a former lodge secretary of Truth and Union is very excited about his role at Edward Jones.  In addition to helping clients with financial services, he also mentors other minority financial advisers who are employed with Edward Jones.

As a side note, his new office is located directly across the street from the new Atlanta Braves stadium which is scheduled to open in 2017.  It is prime office location.

On Saturday November, 19, 2016 Truth and Union Lodge #594 celebrated their 10 year anniversary at the Country Club of Gwinnett.  The event was attended by members of the lodge, family, friends, and citizens of the Dekalb/Gwinnett community.  Worshipful Master - Pshone Ward, Senior Warden - Jason Russell, Junior Warden - Jason Dewberry, and the officers of the lodge hosted the event which featured Rev. Richard Allen Washington of New Bethel AME as the keynote speaker.

Truth and Union Lodge was chartered on October 14, 2006 and since that time has been on a mission to make a difference in the Dekalb/Gwinnett community.

Another highlight of the evening was the awarding of the Master Mason of The Year Award which went to Brother DeJarvis Oliver.

Remarks were received from several Past Masters of Truth and Union including: PM Louis Negron, PM Zachary Pratt, PM Roderick Kimble, and PM Earle Beamon.  Special mention was given to deceased PM Derrick Abrams.

The officers and members of Truth and Union are appreciative of the support of the community for the last 10 years and are excited about making an even larger impact in the next 10 years.

On Saturday, November 5th, 2016, Truth and Union Lodge #594 continues its partnership with ‘A Brush with Kindness’ in order to provide needed interior repairs to homeowners in the Gwinnett County area.

A Brush with Kindness (ABWK), which is an extension of Habitat for Humanity, is an interior and exterior home preservation program that offers painting, landscaping and minor repair services to eligible homeowners so they can continue to live in safe, decent homes for years to come.

For this particular project, the brothers of Truth and Union Lodge #594 were responsible for painting the upstairs and downstairs interior walls of the home. Truth and Union Lodge #594 is devoted to being pillars of the Gwinnett County community.
