January, 20, 2024 - Gwinnett County, GA - On a brisk Saturday morning, with temperatures plunging to a mere 17 degrees, the dedicated members of Truth and Union Lodge gathered for their quarterly road clean-up initiative, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to keeping Gwinnett beautiful. Despite the challenging weather conditions, the group successfully cleared debris and litter from local roads, enhancing the area's aesthetic and environmental health.
Following the road clean-up, Truth and Union Lodge joined forces with New Bethel AME for their monthly Food Drive. In a remarkable display of community spirit and generosity, they distributed over 6000 lbs of food to local residents in need. This collaborative effort not only provided essential sustenance to those facing food insecurity but also strengthened the bond between the organizations and the community they serve. The brothers of Truth and Union Lodge, undeterred by the freezing temperatures, showcased their dedication to service and community welfare. Serving with Pride: Truth and Union Masonic Bodies Volunteer at Gwinnett County's 2024 MLK Parade1/16/2024 Lawrenceville, GA - In the true spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy, members of Truth and Union Lodge and Truth #594 and Union Chapter #590 actively participated in the MLK Parade and Celebration in Gwinnett County, an event organized by the United Ebony Society. By turning the MLK Day holiday into a "day on" rather than a day off, they exemplified the essence of community service and unity.
The parade, a highlight of the community's annual celebrations, saw enthusiastic participation from the Masonic bodies.
