Lawrenceville, GA - It was a busy weekend across the creek for the brothers of Truth and Union. We started off Friday, February 23, 2024, by escorting black women of Gwinnett County who have a huge impact on our community. CONGRATULATIONS to Past Matron Starr Rayford and the sisters of Truth and Union Chapter 590 for being one of the recipients for an award.

Lawrenceville, GA - On Sunday, February 11, 2024, Brothers of Truth and Union Lodge enjoyed the Super Bowl together in fellowship.  The lodge always looks for opportunities to practice brotherly love, relief, and truth.

Macon, GA - In a celebration of fraternal bonds and shared commitment to excellence, Truth and Union Lodge participated in the 2024 Mid-Winter Meeting of The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Georgia. This event, held on February 3, 2024, not only underscores the lodge's dedication to fostering brotherhood and unity but also exemplifies its commitment to the principles of Prince Hall Freemasonry.

​As members of Truth and Union Lodge converge with brethren from across the state, the gathering promises a vibrant exchange of ideas, camaraderie, and a reaffirmation of the shared values that define this esteemed fraternity. The Mid-Winter Meeting stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of Prince Hall Freemasonry, where Truth and Union Lodge proudly stands shoulder to shoulder with fellow Masons in their collective pursuit of wisdom, charity, and mutual support.

January, 20, 2024 - Gwinnett County, GA - On a brisk Saturday morning, with temperatures plunging to a mere 17 degrees, the dedicated members of Truth and Union Lodge gathered for their quarterly road clean-up initiative, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to keeping Gwinnett beautiful. Despite the challenging weather conditions, the group successfully cleared debris and litter from local roads, enhancing the area's aesthetic and environmental health.

Following the road clean-up, Truth and Union Lodge joined forces with New Bethel AME for their monthly Food Drive. In a remarkable display of community spirit and generosity, they distributed over 6000 lbs of food to local residents in need. This collaborative effort not only provided essential sustenance to those facing food insecurity but also strengthened the bond between the organizations and the community they serve.

The brothers of Truth and Union Lodge, undeterred by the freezing temperatures, showcased their dedication to service and community welfare. Their efforts reflect a deep commitment to civic engagement and social responsibility, setting an inspiring example for others in the community.

Lawrenceville, GA - In the true spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy, members of Truth and Union Lodge and Truth #594 and Union Chapter #590 actively participated in the MLK Parade and Celebration in Gwinnett County, an event organized by the United Ebony Society. By turning the MLK Day holiday into a "day on" rather than a day off, they exemplified the essence of community service and unity.

The parade, a highlight of the community's annual celebrations, saw enthusiastic participation from the Masonic bodies. Their involvement ranged from marching in the parade to engaging in various volunteer activities throughout the day.

The United Ebony Society, which has been instrumental in fostering cultural awareness and unity in Gwinnett County, praised the Masonic bodies for their active involvement. Zachary Pratt, President of the United Ebony Society, said "I want to also thank those who were able to come out and assist in the United Ebony Society Parade, ceremony and program.  All three were a success and Truth and Union as always plays a major part." 

As the day concluded, the impact of their service was evident in the smiles and appreciation of the community members. The Truth and Union Lodge and Chapter's involvement in the MLK Parade and Celebration not only honored an important figure in history but also reinforced their commitment to building a stronger, more united community.
