Truth and Union members attended the 'It Takes A Village' youth symposium on Saturday April 29, 2017.  The event was put on by the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Georgia, and is designed to bring youth and adults together to discuss issues that pertain to the youth.  Truth and Union's KOP (Knights of Pythagoras) is a youth group consisting of young men from Dekalb and Gwinnett counties.  The lodge is dedicated to helping to mentor young men and help guide them towards a path of success in life.

On April 29, 2017, Truth and Union Lodge #594 participated in the 2017 Walk To End Lupus in Atlanta, Georgia.  Truth and Union along with other metro Atlanta area lodges that are apart of The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Georgia,, provide support for the event by donating and giving out water to the walk participants.  This is a yearly event and the lodge always has a great time while doing good in the community.

Walk to End Lupus Now ™ events provide all people affected by lupus and their families the opportunity to come together for one unified purpose — to end lupus. Thousands of walkers in nearly 60 cities across the nation walk to raise money for lupus research, increase awareness of lupus, and rally public support for the estimated 1.5 million Americans who suffer from its brutal impact.

April 2017 was a monumental month for Truth and Union Lodge #594.  On Thursday April 20, 2017, the lodge raised 8 new Master Masons and we also had 3 new members who came to us by way of jurisdictional healing overseen by the MWPHGLGA.  Thursday evening was an amazing night and we were also joined by several visitors who joined us in fellowship.

The newly raised Truth and Union members are:  Bro. Christopher Dames, Bro. Ricardo Utai, Bro. Marvin Hendricks, Bro. James Hamilton, Bro. Thomas Tharpe, Bro. Darnell Allen, Bro. Mitchell Williams, and Bro. Edward Jallah.

The Brothers healed into the lodge by the MWPHGLGA are: Bro. Bobby Kilpatrick, Bro. Prince Kilpatrick and Bro. Jamal Robinson.

We are excited to have these new Brothers join us in our charitable endeavors in Dekalb and Gwinnett counties.

On March 29, 2017, Brother Chris King of Truth and Union Lodge #594 was featured in a Coca Cola Company news article.  Brother King was recognized by Coca Cola for his accomplishments as a company executive and also his work out of the office as an NCAA men's basketball referee.

Currently Bro. King serves as Marshal at Truth and Union.  He's a dedicated husband, a great father, and we are proud to have him as a Brother of our lodge.
