Truth and Union #594 is having a Flapjack Fundraiser on March 12, 2016.  The funds will go towards assisting us in our charitable work in Gwinnett County.

Come join us, have a delicious breakfast with unlimited pancakes at Applebees in Duluth, and have a great time.

In Memoriam: Mrs. Bertha L. Fuller

Mrs. Bertha L. Fuller
​Bertha L Fuller, the mother of Brother Karmit Pearson, was born on November 27, 1944, in Texas County, Texas and raised in Blyth CA.   She later moved to Duarte CA. where she would live for the rest of her life. 

She is proceeded in death by her father, Homer Fuller, Sr. and mother, Jewel  Valentine and her brother Homer Fuller, Jr.  She leaves behind her husband Rev Joe Pearson, Sr., 8 brothers and sister, 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls. She also leaves behind, 15 grand kids and 7 great grand kids and a host of nieces and nephews. ​
She was very active in the Duarte and Monrovia, CA communities where she helped feed the homeless and worked with abused women.  She loved helping kids.  She worked at Community Health Care for over 19 years before retiring due to health issues.

Sis. Fuller was also a member of Union Baptist Church in Monrovia, under her pastor for over 29 years, Rev. Fisher, until the doors of the church closed and she then became a member of New Zion Hill Baptist Church under Pastor Crocker.

She loved to dance and sing and could light up any room that she walked in. Her favorite saying was       " stay in the Bible, GOD is the answer "
