On Saturday May 7, 2016, Truth and Union Lodge #594 began it's "Adopt A Highway" initiative.  The volunteer effort is spearheaded by Bro. Dejarvis Oliver in coordination with SW Jason Russell.

On their first effort, they were successful in collecting 19 bags of trash from a local road in Gwinnett County.

Truth and Union Lodge #594 is dedicated to helping improve the quality of life in Gwinnett County via a variety of initiatives.

On Saturday April 30, 2016, Truth and Union Lodge #594 volunteered along with other Prince Hall Masons and Eastern Stars of the Atlanta Masonic District #3 West for the Lupus Walk in Atlanta, GA.

The Brothers of our lodge assisted with the set up, distribution, and breakdown of "water stations" set up along the walk route in Piedmont Park.  This is a yearly event and we are proud to be regular volunteers.

The purpose of The Lupus Walk is to raise money for lupus research, increase awareness of lupus, and rally public support for the estimated 1.5 million Americans who suffer from the disease.
